Job Summary
As a Customer Service Representative II (CSR II), you'll be responsible for assisting internal and external customers, sales representatives, and manufacturing partners with order entry, quotes, returns, and other customer transactions. You'll work closely with our sales team to provide exceptional customer service, identify customer requirements, and recommend specific products and solutions. This role requires strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to multitask and work within multiple computer systems and communication platforms simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
* Accurately process and ensure accuracy of customer transactions in our order entry system, including orders, quotes, returns, and other customer interactions
- Maintain accurate customer and territory records, facility records, and document all customer interactions
- Generate reports as needed to support customer service and sales efforts
- Monitor scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery and maintain a current knowledge of company products, policies, and procedures
- Provide impeccable customer service and sales support, responding to customer queries, answering questions, and solving problems in a timely fashion
- Develop strong working relationships across the business/functions, as well as with customers and manufacturing partners
- Identify customer requirements and expectations to recommend specific products and/or solutions
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Additional Responsibilities
* May place outbound calls to existing customers to identify and suggest additional products and increase sales and services
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies and tactics to meet customer needs and achieve sales goals
Qualifications
* High School Degree or equivalent
- Experience within the veterinary industry (preferably in a customer service or sales role)
- Exceptional customer service and organizational skills
- Accuracy and strong attention to detail
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- General computer proficiency, including knowledge of MS Office
- Ability to multitask and work within multiple computer systems and communication platforms simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
* Credentialed Veterinary Technician
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficiency in SAP or related ERP
Working Conditions
* Operating a computer or other office devices for the majority of the workday
- May occasionally need to move packages up to 10 pounds, such as office supplies or equipment
- Must be able to communicate with others in person, over the phone, and in writing
- Must be able to understand and effectively exchange accurate information with others, such as coworkers, customers, and vendors
- Must be able to read and interpret various electronic and written documents
Travel and On-Call
* This position provides the opportunity for minimal travel (10%) in a local area for sales ride-alongs or training opportunities
- The potential compensation range for this role is $18.37 - $22.50, with the final offer amount based on various factors, such as candidate location, experience, and skills
