Job Summary

As an Experienced Customer Care Navigator – Behavioral Health Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service to our members who require behavioral health support. You will utilize your critical thinking skills and empathy to identify customer needs, analyze situations, and develop effective solutions in collaboration with other service and technical departments. Your primary responsibility will be to respond to customer inquiries by telephone, email, or chat, providing non-technical problem resolution and resolving complex issues related to behavioral health services.

Key Responsibilities

- Respond to customer inquiries by telephone, email, or chat to provide non-technical problem resolution and resolve complex issues related to behavioral health services. - Analyze customer needs and coordinate with other service or technical departments to develop and deliver an appropriate solution for each customer. - Develop and maintain a deep understanding of arenaflex's organization and services offered to resolve more complex inquiries. - Use a customer relationship application or database to record activities and research product information. - Work closely with other teams to ensure seamless communication and effective problem-solving. - Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in behavioral health support.

Essential Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., social work, psychology, counseling) or equivalent experience. - 0-2 years of experience in customer advocacy, teaching, social work, or related fields (previous experience in these areas is not required but is an asset). - Demonstrated empathy, emotional intelligence, patience, and strong interpersonal skills in interactions with others. - Experience in innovative problem-solving and ability to think strategically. - Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple customer issues across multiple contact channels. - Flexibility with work hours and ability to perform occasional client site visits. - Ability to collaborate effectively with a team and maintain composure in stressful situations. - Technological savvy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and ability to attend and present at internal and client meetings.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience in teaching or social work is not required but is an asset. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. - Experience in a health insurance organization or related field is an advantage.
