Key Responsibilities
As a Technical Customer Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
- Providing top-notch technical support to our clients via phone, email, and chat, resolving complex software issues and reporting bugs
- Collaborating with other departments to create the best customer experience possible
- Troubleshooting technical issues and providing creative solutions to our clients
- Developing and maintaining in-depth knowledge of our platform and its features
- Communicating effectively with clients, both technical and non-technical, to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
- Working independently and as part of a team to drive innovation and improvement
Essential Qualifications
To be a good fit for this role, you should:
- Possess a natural curiosity about how things work and how to make them better
- Be equal parts humble and confident, with a perfect balance of these traits
- Have grit like a honey badger – tenacious and relentless in finding solutions
- Technical proficiency with iOS, Android, and web applications
- Experience in technical support or a help desk environment (even better if it's in SaaS!)
- Excellent communication skills – it's the biggest part of this job, so we really mean it
- An eye for detail and a strong team spirit – you'll work independently but will always have your team's back
- A natural sense of empathy and patience to help users of all technical levels resolve their issues
- Fun to be around – because we believe work should have a little bit of fun, too
Preferred Qualifications
To receive Bonus Points (but not required), you should:
- Have previous experience in the door-to-door sales industry (you'll have insider knowledge of our clients)
- Prior experience in customer-facing roles like call centers, help desks, or tech support
- Creative problem-solving skills and a knack for thinking outside the box
- An interest in continuous learning – a Product Specialist who is fast, effective, and proactively solves problems before they appear will really thrive here
