What You'll Do

As a Customer Support Specialist on our Payroll team, you'll be responsible for supporting our customers and resolving issues related to our products. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Providing exceptional support to our customers via phone, chat, email, and video conferencing
  • Taking charge of customer issues from start to finish in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Leveraging your platform and industry expertise to de-escalate and resolve issues
  • Becoming a product expert and serving as a go-to resource for both customers and coworkers
  • Identifying areas of improvement and working directly with Product and Engineering teams to share areas where we can better serve our customer base through automation or added features
  • Working well under time constraints and meeting schedules to ensure client needs are met

What You'll Need

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English
  • 2+ years of experience processing payroll (US or non-US) or operating in a technical support role at a payroll provider
  • Ability to work 9am-5:30pm PST
  • 3+ years of work experience in a customer/client-facing role
  • Demonstrated experience problem-solving with attention to detail
  • Organizational skills and experience improving processes
  • Flexibility with changing job duties and responsibilities
  • Time management skills and ability to prioritize

This role will receive a competitive salary + benefits + equity. The salary for US-based employees will be aligned with one of the ranges below based on location:

  • $21 - 23 per hour (US Tier 2)
  • $20 - 22 per hour (US Tier 3)
