Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Answering calls for billing and coordinating first notice of loss claims
  • Providing exceptional customer service to policyholders and agents
  • Resolving customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of customer interactions
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of experience in a customer service role
  • Ability to make good business decisions without guidance, but escalating when needed
  • Strong sense of accountability and proven ability to problem-solve
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to be on the phone for extended periods of time
  • Ability to take constructive feedback from peers and supervisors
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in software packages
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes

Preferred Qualifications

* Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills

  • Experience in a call center or billing environment
  • Familiarity with insurance industry terminology and concepts
