Lead Data Scientist – Generative AI (GenAI) Experience: 12–15+ Years (Data Science / AI Experience) Employment Type: Full-Time (W2 Only) Location: USA (Hybrid / Onsite) Work Authorization: H4 EAD, L2S, GC EAD, Green Card, US Citizen Job Summary We are seeking a highly accomplished Lead Data Scientist with strong Generative AI expertise to drive enterprise-scale AI and advanced analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, Large Language Models (LLMs), and advanced data science techniques, along with strong leadership capabilities to guide teams and deliver innovative AI-driven solutions. This role requires ownership of GenAI strategy, model development, experimentation, deployment, and optimization across enterprise platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and lead Generative AI and Data Science initiatives across enterprise use cases.
• Design and implement LLM-based applications including RAG architectures and prompt engineering.
• Develop and optimize machine learning and deep learning models for predictive and analytical use cases.
• Perform advanced exploratory data analysis (EDA) and derive actionable business insights.
• Architect end-to-end ML pipelines from data ingestion to deployment and monitoring.
• Work with structured and unstructured datasets at large scale.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, AI/ML Engineers, Product, and business teams.
• Establish best practices for MLOps, model governance, evaluation, and monitoring.
• Optimize AI solutions for scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Mentor junior data scientists and lead technical decision-making.

• Python (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn)
• Feature engineering, model evaluation, and tuning

Generative AI

• LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, LLaMA, etc.)
• Prompt engineering and LLM orchestration
• RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)
• LangChain / LlamaIndex / Hugging Face

Deep Learning & AI

• TensorFlow / PyTorch
• NLP / AI model optimization

Cloud & MLOps

• AWS / Azure / GCP
• MLflow / SageMaker / Azure ML
• CI/CD pipelines for ML
• Docker / Kubernetes

Data & Storage

• SQL / NoSQL
• Vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, Chroma)
• Large-scale data processing

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building enterprise GenAI platforms
• Exposure to Databricks or big data ecosystems
• Experience in BFSI, Healthcare, Retail, or enterprise domains
• Strong leadership, stakeholder communication, and mentoring skills
