Role Overview

As an Experienced Customer Retention Representative, you will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound telephone calls with customers who are calling to cancel their insurance coverage and/or place calls to current policyholders regarding coverage, premium due, as well as other policy information. You will answer questions about policy benefits and premiums and accurately document the information on the appropriate database. Your exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure will be essential in ensuring that customers are satisfied with their experience and that business is conserved.

Key Responsibilities

* Handle inbound and outbound telephone calls with customers who are calling to cancel their insurance coverage and/or place calls to current policyholders regarding coverage, premium due, as well as other policy information

  • Answer questions about policy benefits and premiums and accurately document the information on the appropriate database
  • Provide assistance to customers who are calling to cancel their insurance coverage, ensuring that they understand the importance of keeping their coverage
  • Place calls to current policyholders to provide information about coverage, premium due, and other policy-related matters
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and update databases as necessary
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve business objectives and provide exceptional customer experiences

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent

  • Customer service experience, preferably in a call center or insurance industry setting
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Superior customer service skills, including friendly, efficient, and good listening skills
  • Proficient use of the computer, keyboard functions, and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze information and make logical conclusions
  • Desire to learn and grow within the company
  • Ability to type 30 words per minute, with a pre-employment assessment required

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a remote work from home environment

  • Knowledge of insurance industry products and services
  • Familiarity with CRM software and database management systems
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
