Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team in Joliet, IL. As a key point of contact for our customers, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service, resolving issues, and driving results through effective communication, problem-solving, and collaboration. Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
- Managing shipping and receiving within our system in partnership with General Manager and Supervisors
- Processing billing and invoicing with tight turnaround times and attention to detail
- Resolving any issues with billing, invoicing, shipping, and/or receiving with customers and internal management
- Daily effective communication (email, phone, or in-person) with customers and internal team members and management
- Acting as a liaison between the warehouse and the customer in administration of accounts and between the office and customer regarding invoicing and credit changes
- Following arenaflex corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and assisting in enforcing them when necessary
- Observing all company safety rules and assisting in enforcement as appropriate
- Performing other duties as assigned
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of experience and education; Bachelor's degree in business or similar discipline preferred
- 3 years verifiable customer service experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding computer and data entry skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in logistics and supply chain operations
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and logistics software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
