Job Summary

As a Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences that drive loyalty and retention. You'll be responsible for providing courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service to our customers, answering questions, and modeling and sharing customer service best practices with your team. Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a courteous and professional manner

  • Operate a cash register accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the checkout area, shelves, and stockroom
  • Model and share customer service best practices with your team, including providing feedback and coaching to improve performance
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an engaging and inviting shopping experience
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales goals and meet customer needs
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, promotions, and sales to provide customers with informed recommendations and solutions

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or experience in customer service preferred

  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service, retail, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a retail or pharmacy environment

  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills a plus
