Job Summary

As a Customer Service Optician at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, educating patients on eyecare options, and helping them find the perfect glasses to suit their needs. Key Responsibilities

* Help patients choose the right glasses based on their personal style, lifestyle needs, prescription, and more

• Determine the best lens types, materials, coatings, and brands for patients' lifestyles
• Educate first-timers on how to use and take care of their glasses
• Troubleshoot prescription issues and miscellaneous repairs
• Take accurate measurements for all lens styles and prescriptions
• Check new glasses for fit and make adjustments
• Bill insurance and manage patient accounts
• Maintain a clean, neat, and welcoming optical space
• Perform inventory, ordering, sending, and receiving shipments

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

• Prior medical office or eyecare experience is a plus, but not required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working with patients of all ages and backgrounds

• Knowledge of eyecare products and services
• Familiarity with medical office software and technology
