Job Summary
As a Pharmacy Technician - Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in the coordination and processing of patient medication orders. You'll work closely with our pharmacy team to ensure accurate and efficient data entry, while also providing exceptional patient care and support. Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and process patient medication orders, including order intake, data entry, and verification
- Work closely with the pharmacy team to ensure accurate and efficient data entry, while also providing exceptional patient care and support
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, medication lists, and treatment plans
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and other team members to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines and regulations
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
Essential Qualifications
* One (1) year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician, with a strong background in data entry and patient care
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification or registration with the state of Kentucky
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, including medication management and patient safety
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and other team members
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines and regulations
