Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Associate, you'll be responsible for:

• Modeling and delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience, ensuring our customers feel valued and supported throughout their shopping journey.
• Registering sales on assigned cash registers, providing customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Engaging customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, resolving customer issues, and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Recommending items for sale to customers and suggesting trade-up and/or companion items to enhance their shopping experience.
• Registering customer purchases, collecting cash, and distributing change as requested; processing voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed.
• Maintaining a clean and well-merchandised store environment, including counters and shelves, and ensuring compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
• Implementing Company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.
• Assisting with separation of food items and product placement as specified by policies/procedures.
• Providing customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative machine.
• Assisting with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, and orderly store condition and appearance.
• Complying with all company policies and procedures and maintaining respectful relationships with coworkers.

Essential Qualifications

* Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).

• Requires a willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekend hours.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; prior retail experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

* Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.

• Prior work experience with arenaflex preferred.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico) preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekend hours, preferred.

Skills and Competencies

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage customers and patients in a friendly and courteous manner.

• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to resolve customer issues and answer questions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Basic math skills, with the ability to handle cash and operate a cash register.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain a clean and well-merchandised store environment.
