About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Caregiver to provide companionship and support to a kind gentleman in Coppell, TX. As a Caregiver with arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
- Providing companionship and social interaction to our client, engaging in activities such as conversation, games, and hobbies
- Assisting with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Preparing meals and snacks, and assisting with light housekeeping
- Providing emotional support and comfort to our client, and helping to maintain their independence
- Maintaining a safe and clean environment, and reporting any concerns or issues to our management team
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you'll need to meet the following requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Live within the Coppell area
- Possess a valid driver's license, car, and valid auto insurance
- Complete a criminal background check, DMV check, and drug screen
- Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Previous experience as a Caregiver or in a related field
- Certification in CPR and First Aid
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
