Key Responsibilities:

* Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable iOS chat applications that meet the needs of our community

• Collaborate with our cross-functional team to identify and prioritize features, and develop technical solutions that meet our product roadmap
• Work closely with our design team to ensure seamless integration of UI/UX principles into our chat applications
• Develop and maintain our iOS chat SDK, ensuring it's stable, efficient, and easy to use
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, and provide expert-level support to our internal teams and external partners
• Stay up-to-date with the latest iOS development trends, technologies, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve our chat applications
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, and contribute to the growth and development of our team

Essential Qualifications:

* 5+ years of experience in iOS software development, with a strong focus on chat applications and community engagement

• Proficiency in Swift, Objective-C, and iOS development frameworks (e.g. UIKit, Core Data, Core Animation)
• Experience with chat protocols (e.g. XMPP, WebSockets, WebRTC) and messaging platforms (e.g. Firebase, PubNub)
• Strong understanding of software design patterns, architecture, and testing principles
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug complex technical issues and provide clear, concise solutions
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications:
