Job Summary
We're seeking a Junior Credentialing Specialist to perform data entry and analysis tasks in support of our credentialing efforts. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our credentialing data. Key Responsibilities
* Perform data entry tasks in support of credentialing efforts, including data collection, verification, and analysis
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of credentialing data, including provider information, licensure, and certification
- Analyze data to identify trends and patterns, and provide recommendations for process improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve credentialing issues and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Develop and maintain relationships with providers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely credentialing data
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance credentialing processes and outcomes
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Essential Qualifications
* 4 years of work experience in data entry or credentialing, preferably in the healthcare industry
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and customer service
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare software systems
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to credentialing and data management
- Certification in credentialing or a related field (e.g., CPCS, CPMSM)
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
