Job Summary

As an Experienced Customer Service Associate, you'll be the face of arenaflex in our Carbondale, IL store. You'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Key Responsibilities

* Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience by engaging with customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

• Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service, and recommends items for sale to customers.
• Maintains a clean and organized store environment by keeping counters and shelves clean, taking inventory, and checking in and pricing merchandise as required.
• Implements Company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss and ensures compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
• Assists with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, and orderly store condition and appearance.
• Provides customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative machine, and suggestive sell of promotional photo products.
• Assumes web pick-up responsibilities, including monitoring orders, filling orders, and delivering orders to customers as they arrive at the store.

Essential Qualifications

* Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).

• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; prior retail experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

* Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.

• Prior work experience with arenaflex preferred.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico) preferred.

Skills and Competencies

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner.

• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and meeting sales targets.
• Basic math skills, with the ability to accurately process transactions and handle cash and credit transactions.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, with frequent standing, walking, and bending.
