Job Description
We're currently hiring a Part-Time Data Entry Specialist to join our team on a semi-flexible, fully remote basis. As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll have the opportunity to work with a range of cloud accounting applications, including QuickBooks Online (QBO), and other industry-leading software. You'll be responsible for:
- Downloading and entering financial statements, transactions, and other data into our systems
- Reconciling bank accounts and performing basic financial reviews
- Collaborating with our team to resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise
- Providing exceptional customer service to our clients through prompt and professional communication
- Working independently to find solutions to problems and sharing your knowledge with the team
Key Responsibilities
* Data entry and management: Enter financial data into our systems, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- Financial statement review: Review and reconcile financial statements, identifying any discrepancies or issues
- Communication: Respond promptly to emails and messages from the team, providing clear and concise information
- Problem-solving: Work independently to find solutions to problems and share your knowledge with the team
- Collaboration: Collaborate with the team to resolve issues and improve processes
Essential Qualifications
* 2+ years of experience in accounting or a related field
- Strong understanding of cloud accounting applications, including QBO
- Excellent data entry skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work a range of hours, including evenings and weekends
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with other cloud accounting applications, such as Xero or Sage
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance
- Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
