Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Junior Data Entry Specialist to join our Finance team on a remote basis. As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining financial data in our systems. You'll work closely with internal teams to resolve discrepancies, process invoices and payments, and prepare financial reports. Key Responsibilities

* Accurately enter, update, and maintain financial data in our systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness

  • Verify and reconcile data to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Assist in processing invoices, payments, and financial reports, adhering to company procedures and compliance guidelines
  • Communicate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and address any concerns
  • Perform other administrative and data-related tasks as needed, supporting the efficient operation of our Finance team
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance our financial operations

Essential Qualifications

* Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with a keen eye for numbers and data

  • Basic understanding of finance, accounting, or data entry principles, with a willingness to learn and grow
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools, with experience in data analysis and reporting
  • Ability to work independently, meeting deadlines and managing multiple tasks and priorities
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a collaborative and supportive approach to teamwork
  • Prior experience in data entry or finance-related work is a plus, but not required

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a finance or accounting environment, with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices

  • Familiarity with financial software and systems, including data management and reporting tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual team environment, with a high level of self-motivation and discipline
  • Certification in data entry, finance, or accounting is a plus, but not required

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
