Experienced Data Entry Specialist – Remote Customer Service and Sales Support

Job Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales support to our clients. Your primary duties will include:
- Registering sales transactions on assigned sales register, providing customers with friendly, fair, and efficient checkout service
- Attracting customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services
- Resolving customer issues and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience
- Modeling and promoting customer service best practices with all colleagues to deliver a consistent and exceptional customer experience
- Providing customers with gracious, courteous, quick, and effective assistance
- Recommending products to customers and suggesting upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Registering customer purchases on assigned sales register, collecting cash and dispensing change as required; processing voids, returns, IOUs, discounts, and trades as necessary
- Maintaining counters and retiring perfect and well-organized, taking stock, and keeping records
- Checking in and costing stock as required or as directed by head supervisor or assigned by the shift leader
- Executing organizational resource security strategies to identify and limit benefit loss
- Ensuring compliance with state and local regulations regarding controlled items (e.g., tobacco and tobacco products)
- Developing and maintaining displays, including promotional, seasonal, and super displays, and deal stock
- Completing resets and updates as directed
- Assisting with the separation of food items (e.g., raw foods from pre-cooked) and product arrangement as determined by policies and procedures (e.g., raw and frozen meats on bottom shelves)
- Having working knowledge of store systems and store equipment
- Providing customer assistance in the photo area, including digital visa photo service, banner print and creative machine, and promotional photo items
- Taking on web pick-up responsibilities (screens orders in Picture Care, handles orders (picks items), and delivers orders to customers as they arrive at the store)
- Assisting with external and internal maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, and well-organized store condition and appearance
- Following all company policies and procedures; maintaining respectful relationships with colleagues
- Completing special tasks and other assignments as directed
Essential Qualifications
* Familiarity with reading, writing, and communicating in English (except in Puerto Rico)
- Ability to work an adaptable schedule, including nights and weekend hours
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
Preferred Qualifications
* Six months of experience in a retail environment
- Previous work experience with arenaflex (formerly Walgreens)
- Familiarity with reading, writing, and communicating in English (except in Puerto Rico)
- Eagerness to work an adaptable schedule, including nights and weekend hours
