Responsibilities
As an Experienced Customer Service Representative II, you will be responsible for:
- Acquiring, Retaining, and Expanding Customer Relationships: Effectively interview and profile new and existing customers to recommend appropriate banking products and services, ensuring a superior customer experience at all times.
- Partnerships and Sales Opportunities: Partner with other business lines within arenaflex to identify sales opportunities and enhance customer experience, driving business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Teller Services and Account Management: Open and close customer accounts, including checking, savings, money markets, certificates of deposit, and IRAs, while maintaining accurate records and adhering to arenaflex's policies and procedures.
- Cross-Selling and Sales Programs: Cross-sell bank products and services to meet customer needs and referral goals, participating in sales programs to generate new customers and maintain thorough knowledge of bank products and services.
- Customer Service and Conflict Resolution: Actively listen to customers, maintain a friendly, positive, professional attitude, and resolve difficult situations with creativity, tact, and diplomacy.
- Branch Lobby Management and Community Involvement: Support branch lobby management, participate in community events, and perform daily teller services such as processing deposits and withdrawals.
- Cash Handling and Compliance: Balance cash drawer independently, maintain compliance with cash handling policies, and assist in branch audit functions.
- Professional Development and Growth: Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge, contributing to arenaflex's commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Minimum of 2 years cash handling and customer service experience
, with a strong track record of delivering exceptional customer service and meeting sales targets.
Banking experience preferred
, with some experience in opening new deposit accounts and cross-selling banking services and products.
Demonstrated success in cross-selling banking services and products
, with a proven ability to communicate effectively with employees and customers.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
PC experience required
, with knowledge of Word, Excel, and teller/bank software preferred.
Self-starter, dependable, and able to work under pressure
