The SCE Team
Our SCE team is a specialized global deal team that engages with commercial and public sector customers on deal strategy, structuring, and negotiations through contractual closure for transformational, strategic, large, complex, and/or highly competitive opportunities. As a key member of this team, you'll work closely with customers, AWS field sales executives, and other internal stakeholders to drive business outcomes, increase adoption of AWS services, and establish arenaflex as the trusted cloud technology provider.
Key Responsibilities
As an Experienced Strategic Customer Engagements Lead, you'll be responsible for managing the end-to-end deal cycle for strategic, large, complex, or highly competitive deals. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading negotiations and customer closure for strategic, large, complex, or highly competitive deals
- Developing and shaping the overall deal strategy and structure to meet customer business outcomes and goals
- Contributing to developing arenaflex's value proposition and solutions
- Driving revenue growth and cloud adoption
- Collaborating closely with key stakeholders across the organization, including regional sales teams, service teams, finance, and legal
- Acting as a trusted advisor in the development of commercial strategy for deals with AWS field sales executives
- Inspiring, influencing, and facilitating alignment with internal stakeholders, experts, and other resources to remove obstacles and achieve desired business outcomes
- Developing strategies for pricing and discounts, effectively communicating and identifying deal blockers
- Leading or supporting the presentation of deal proposals to customers
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need to have:
- 8+ years of demonstrated success working with customers on substantial, strategic, and complex software or cloud services/infrastructure deals from opportunity through closure
- 8+ years of working with, presenting to, and negotiating with C-level executives, IT, lines of business, procurement, finance, and legal and internal stakeholders for sizeable commercial/enterprise deals
- A bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Technology, or Finance (or equivalent work experience)
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, we're looking for candidates with:
- Advanced degree or equivalent relevant experience
- Direct field experience with enterprise accounts
- Knowledge of arenaflex products and services
- Strong written and verbal presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
arenaflex offers a competitive total compensation package, including:
- Base pay ranging from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market
- Variable pay via a sales compensation plan
- Equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation
