Key Responsibilities:
- Provide fast, friendly service to customers, assessing their needs and recommending products to meet their requirements. - Learn about products using arenaflex tools and provide information to customers to sell entire projects. - Greet, qualify, recommend, and close every customer in your department, while knowing how to handle basics in adjacent departments. - Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop-able, and safe. - Provide a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies & standards, completing specified safety training, immediately correcting hazards & unsafe conditions, or reporting conditions to the Manager on Duty. - Work in cooperation with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department as well as other departments.
Specific Job Types:
- Department Sales: Focus on selling products within a specific department. - Lead Generator: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities. - Pro Account Sales: Develop and maintain relationships with professional customers. - Sales Specialist: Provide expert knowledge and recommendations to customers. - Special Services: Offer specialized services to customers, such as project consultations. - Customer Order Specialist: Process customer orders and ensure timely delivery.
Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred. - 1-2 years of customer service or sales experience in a retail or similar environment. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets. - Strong product knowledge and ability to learn about arenaflex products. - Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system. - Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
