Key Responsibilities:

As an Experienced Customer Service/Sales Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing fast, friendly, and personalized service to customers, actively seeking out opportunities to assess their needs and provide assistance
  • Learning about our products and services using our tools and resources, and providing information to customers to help them make informed purchasing decisions
  • Greeting, qualifying, recommending, and closing sales with customers in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintaining the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop-able, and safe
  • Providing a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies and standards, completing specified safety training, and reporting hazards or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty
  • Working collaboratively with Department Supervisors and other associates in their department and other departments to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service
  • Participating in sales training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Staying up-to-date with product knowledge, promotions, and sales strategies to provide accurate and informed advice to customers

Essential Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • 1-2 years of customer service or sales experience in a retail or related environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
  • Strong product knowledge and sales skills, with a passion for learning and staying up-to-date with industry trends
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and driving sales growth
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash, operating a cash register, and processing transactions
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time

Preferred Qualifications:

While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:

  • Experience working in a retail or sales environment, with a focus on customer service and sales growth
  • Knowledge of our products and services, or a willingness to learn and develop product knowledge
  • Certification in customer service or sales, such as Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or Certified Sales Professional (CSP)
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues in multiple languages
