Job Description
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be the face of our organization, delivering exceptional service to our customers and clients. You'll possess in-depth knowledge of our financial products and services, enabling you to provide expert counseling and guidance to our members. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities
- Providing high-quality service to our customers, demonstrated through high sales performance measurements and high member satisfaction ratings.
- Processing various types of transactions, including handling deposits, withdrawals, and cashing checks.
- Processing mortgage payments, loan payments, and issuing cashiers and traveler's checks.
- Identifying financial needs and promoting, recommending, referring, and cross-selling products and services.
- Responding and resolving concerns by partnering with the member.
- Processing consumer loan applications, including reviewing, analyzing applications, and supporting documents.
- Opening and closing accounts.
- General knowledge of IRA products.
- Identifying and reporting fraudulent activity.
- Processing and balancing various types of monetary transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and cashing checks.
- Completing loan payments, mortgage payments, and issuing gift, cashiers, and traveler's checks requests.
- Receiving mortgage and loan payments.
- Meeting balancing standards consistently.
- Maintaining a high level of accuracy and security.
- Developing and maintaining business relationships.
- Demonstrating knowledge of financial products and services.
Required Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years' of customer service and/or sales experience.
- 6+ months' cash handling experience.
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations and work accurately with numbers.
- Comfortable working with little to no supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to sit/stand approximately 8 hours a day.
- Must be flexible in relieving multiple branch offices and willing to work Saturdays.
- Complies with policies and procedures, including those related to Bank Secrecy Act regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associates degree in finance or related field.
- 1+ years' teller experience.
- 1+ years' of credit union or financial services experience.
- 1+ years' loan experience.
- Bilingual Spanish Speaking.
- Symitar experience.
