Job Summary
As a Part-Time Chat Operator, you'll be responsible for engaging with customers via online chat, providing accurate information about our products and services, and helping our clients generate revenue through lead generation. You'll work in a relaxed, yet professional and fun environment, surrounded by a team of positive and energetic individuals who share your passion for customer service and technology.
Responsibilities
* Handle a wide variety of customer inquiries via online chat, providing accurate and timely responses to meet customer needs
- Provide product and service information to customers, ensuring that they have a clear understanding of our offerings
- Narrow down on appointment information to schedule appointments, ensuring that customers have a seamless experience
- Capture customer contact information for lead generation and client review, helping our clients to build strong relationships with their customers
- Summarize interactions based on customer needs for client review, providing valuable insights that help our clients to improve their sales strategies
- Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services, staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and developments
Qualifications
* Previous experience in retail customer service or the automotive industry is preferred, but not necessary
- Basic internet and window-based computer skills are required, with a strong ability to multitask and adapt to change
- Positive and professional demeanor, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to type at least 35 WPM, with 40 and above preferred
- Strong gaming experience is helpful, but not necessary
- Ability to work in a quiet, dedicated workspace free from distractions, with a reliable computer or laptop and necessary equipment (webcam, second monitor, microphone, and external mouse)
Training and Requirements
* On-the-job training via Zoom, with a comprehensive training program that covers all aspects of the role
- Must be able to attend 4 weeks of full-time remote training, Tuesday - Saturday between the hours of 11:00 am-7:30pm EDT
- Must have a reliable computer or laptop with a webcam, second monitor, microphone, and external mouse
- Must be able to type at least 35 WPM, with 40 and above preferred
