As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with customers, and driving sales growth in a variety of departments.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide fast, friendly, and personalized service to customers, assessing their needs and providing assistance to drive sales growth

  • Learn about products and services using our tools and training programs, and provide information to customers to sell entire projects
  • Greet, qualify, recommend, and close every customer in your department, and know how to handle basics in adjacent departments
  • Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop-able, and safe
  • Provide a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies and standards, completing specified safety training, and reporting hazards and unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty
  • Work in cooperation with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department, as well as other departments, to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals
  • Participate in sales promotions, events, and training programs to stay up-to-date on products and services
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and customer satisfaction metrics, as measured by arenaflex

Essential Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

  • 1-2 years of customer service or sales experience in a retail or construction-related environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on customer satisfaction and sales growth
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash, operating a point-of-sale system, and processing transactions
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and move freely throughout the store
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience in a sales or customer service role in a retail or construction-related environment

  • Knowledge of building materials, tools, and equipment, or a related field
  • Familiarity with arenaflex products and services, or a willingness to learn
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on collaboration and communication
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
