Call Center Representative Responsibilities

As an Inbound Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Managing large volumes of inbound calls with efficiency and courtesy, ensuring that every customer interaction is a positive one
  • Following conversation prompts and scripts when handling different topics, while also exercising your critical thinking skills to resolve complex issues
  • Identifying customers' needs, clarifying their information, researching their issues, and providing solutions and/or alternatives to solve their problems
  • Seizing opportunities to upsell products when they arise, while always prioritizing the customer's needs and preferences
  • Building sustainable relationships and engaging customers by going the extra mile when possible
  • Maintaining accessible, comprehensive records of all conversations in our call center database
  • Attending educational seminars to improve your knowledge and performance level
  • Meeting or exceeding personal/team qualitative and quantitative targets, including metrics such as first-call resolution, customer satisfaction, and sales performance

Call Center Representative Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Previous experience in a customer support role, preferably in a call center environment
  • A proven track record of over-achievement on quotas, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and retention
  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills, including active listening skills and the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Comfortability with CRM systems and best practices, including data entry and record-keeping
  • An empathetic customer focus, with the ability to manage many different personality types and adapt to changing situations
  • The ability to multi-task, set priorities, and manage time effectively, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • A high school degree, with a strong emphasis on customer service, communication, or a related field
