The Role
As an Experienced Full Stack Data Scientist at arenaflex, you will be part of our Data Ventures team, which works closely with our US stores and e-commerce business to better serve customers through empowering team members, stores, and traders with technological innovation. You will be responsible for leading the development of data-driven solutions that drive business growth, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Data Source Identification: Identify and extract relevant data from various sources, including external data providers, to support business decisions and drive growth.
- Problem Formulation: Analyze business problems, identify key drivers, and develop data-driven solutions to address them.
- Analytical Modeling: Develop and deploy predictive models using machine learning algorithms, statistical techniques, and data visualization tools to drive business insights and recommendations.
- Model Deployment & Scaling: Work with MLOps to deploy models in production, monitor their performance, and make adjustments as needed.
- Code Development & Testing: Write code to develop and test data-driven solutions, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model training.
- Applied Business Acumen: Evaluate business cases, influence stakeholder decision-making, and translate business requirements into data-driven solutions.
- Model Assessment & Validation: Evaluate model performance, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to address them.
- Data Visualization and Storytelling: Develop compelling stories and visualizations to communicate complex insights to stakeholders and drive business decisions.
What You'll Bring
* Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in an analytics-related field, with a strong focus on machine learning, data analysis, and visualization.
- Deep knowledge of machine learning algorithms, statistical techniques, and data visualization tools.
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, or other languages.
- Ability to execute projects from start to finish, including junior team members.
- Experience with MLOps, coding standards, and data quality control.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex algorithm evaluations into simple language.
- Ability to work with external clients and stakeholders, including management and outside partners.
