Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our team, where you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable data solutions that meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with our Information Item Chiefs, Information Modelers, and Information Architects to configure, implement, and deliver successful data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop scalable data solutions that meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders
- Plan and develop versatile information warehousing arrangements, building ETL pipelines in Large Data conditions (cloud, on-prem, hybrid)
- Help engineer data solutions/structures and define data models for the core data warehouse and data shops
- Collaborate with Information Item Chiefs, Information Modelers, and Information Architects to design, implement, and deliver successful data solutions
- Maintain detailed documentation of your work and changes to ensure data quality and data administration
- Ensure high functional productivity and quality of your solutions to meet SLAs and support obligation to our clients (Information Science, Information Examination groups)
- Be a proactive member and supporter of agile/scrum practice to ensure well-being and cycle enhancements for your team
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Strong SQL skills and ability to write queries to extract data and build performant datasets
- Experience with distributed frameworks like Hadoop (HDFS, Hive, Voila, PySpark) to query and process data
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java/Scala
- Experience with at least one major MPP or cloud database technology (Snowflake, Redshift, Large Query)
- Strong involvement in data integration toolsets (i.e. Wind current) and writing and maintaining data pipelines
- Strong understanding of data modeling strategies and data warehousing standard systems and practices
- Familiarity with Scrum and Agile approaches

* Experience with cloud advances like AWS (S3, EMR, EC2)
- Strong problem-solving skills with excellent analytical and relational abilities
- Experience with data visualization tools and technologies
- Strong understanding of data security and compliance regulations
