Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Welcoming and engaging with customers in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintaining a clean and visually appealing food mart that's well-stocked with quality food and beverage options
  • Representing arenaflex in a professional manner at all times, consistently demonstrating excellent customer service skills
  • Performing the Four Steps of Customer Service to ensure total customer satisfaction and excellent Mystery Shop reviews
  • Offering current promotional items and credit card applications to customers
  • Stocking and maintaining displays and coolers to ensure they're visually appealing to customers
  • Ensuring all prices are displayed correctly for each product
  • Maintaining the food and beverage area, including cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking as needed
  • Accurately conducting cash, debit, and credit transactions on the cash register (POS)
  • Performing simple math calculations and following company policies and procedures for cash handling
  • Maintaining the outdoor equipment, removing and disposing of trash and debris, sweeping and mopping floors, and cleaning station restrooms
  • Following shift duties schedule and performing other duties as assigned

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic aptitude and understanding of POS systems
  • Some customer service experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Adaptability, multi-tasking, and sound decision-making abilities
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work any shift, Sunday to Saturday, to support arenaflex's business needs

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in a retail or food service environment

  • Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures
  • Experience with cash handling and POS systems
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical activities that require considerable use of hands, arms, and legs

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Excellent customer service skills, including verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient hand/eye dexterity to operate cash register (POS) and stock displays and coolers
  • Ability to communicate well enough to receive instructions and provide information to others
