Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service/Sales associate at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
- Providing fast, friendly service to customers, actively seeking out opportunities to assess their needs and provide assistance
- Learning about our products using our tools and providing information to customers to sell entire projects
- Greeting, qualifying, recommending, and closing every customer in your department
- Maintaining the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop-able, and safe
- Providing a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies & standards, completing specified safety training, immediately correcting hazards & unsafe conditions or reporting conditions to the Manager on Duty, and working safely as not to endanger yourself, co-workers, vendors, or customers
- Working in cooperation with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department as well as other departments

Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or associate's degree preferred
- 1-2 years of customer service or sales experience in a retail environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working in a home improvement or retail environment
- Knowledge of building materials, tools, or other related products
- Ability to speak multiple languages
