Job Summary
As a Senior Business Analyst, you'll be responsible for collecting, summarizing, and analyzing data to inform strategic planning and operational decision making across our Pharmacy and Retail Operations. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, regulatory, and process improvement teams, to drive operational solutions and improve business outcomes. Your expertise in data analysis, process improvement, and stakeholder communication will be essential in driving business growth and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Collect, summarize, and analyze data to inform strategic planning and operational decision making across Pharmacy and Retail Operations
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of enterprise techniques and practices concerning all aspects of Pharmacy and Retail Operations
- Provide complex analysis of corresponding data to build a business case for system and operational process changes, enhancements, and improvements
- Serve as a key point of contact for various initiatives to drive challenge execution and communicate relevant project information to stakeholders
- Collect, analyze, and make recommendations on proposed applications to satisfy business and strategic goals of Pharmacy and Retail Operations and the company
- Manage complex ad-hoc projects and analyses as needed
- Plan, design, and deploy suitable reviews and tools to drive operational excellence
- Collaborate with Pharmacy and Retail Operations, IT, regulatory, and process improvement teams to expand operational solutions
- Coach, mentor, guide, and provide oversight to less senior Business Analysts
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g., business, healthcare, data analysis)
- At least 1 year of experience in reading and reporting data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive development of consequences and find solutions
- Experience querying databases (e.g., SQL, Golden, Business Objects, EDW, SAS, and/or SQL Server)
- Experience identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing solutions to address problems and challenges
- Experience communicating the impact of business analysis results on business leaders
- Intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Word (e.g., creating headers, page breaks, page numbers, and tables, and/or adjusting table columns)
- Intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g., using the SUM function, creating borders, adjusting column width, creating charts, using text wrap, sorting, creating headers and footers, and/or print scaling)
- Intermediate-level skills in Microsoft PowerPoint (e.g., using a template, formatting individual spacing, creating a picture, converting slide format and template colors, adding transitions, customizing slide numbers, converting chart style, and/or formatting font)
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's Degree or MBA
- Retail Pharmacy Experience
- Advanced skills in data analysis, process improvement, and stakeholder communication
