Experienced Information Investigator – Advanced Data Analysis and Business Insights

We're excited to announce an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Information Investigator to join our Pack Trial and Error and Examination group, a dynamic team that plays a critical role in supporting the Disney Pack, including Hulu, Disney+, and ESPN+.

The Role

As an Experienced Information Investigator, you'll be part of a high-performing team that utilizes data, analytics, and experimentation to drive business growth and inform strategic decisions. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product, Data Science, and Operations, to provide actionable insights and recommendations that drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

* Collaborate with business leaders to identify key business challenges and develop data-driven solutions to address them

• Design and implement a continuous experiences pipeline to ensure that all stakeholders have access to timely and relevant Pack intelligence
• Conduct in-depth pattern analyses to identify drivers of Pack growth and develop strategies to optimize them
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer segments and their behavior, using data to inform marketing and product decisions
• Work with other Examination teams to integrate Pack data from various sources and develop a comprehensive understanding of customer behavior
• Develop and maintain expertise in data analysis tools and techniques, including R/Python/SAS, SQL, and data visualization tools
• Communicate complex data insights and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders, using clear and compelling storytelling techniques

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Information Analysis, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field

• Proven experience with data analysis tools and techniques, including R/Python/SAS, SQL, and data visualization tools
• Strong understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning, and other quantitative methodologies
• Ability to work with large datasets, identify patterns, and develop insights that inform business decisions
• Experience with data visualization tools, including Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply business acumen to data analysis and recommendations

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in the streaming media industry or other membership-based services

• Experience working with Advertising teams or in the Marketing industry
• Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation methodologies
• Experience with data management and governance frameworks, including data quality and data security
