About USDS

arenaflex's U.S. Information Security (USDS) division is a dedicated team that is responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our platform and user data. Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Infrastructure SRE-Application Services team. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and secure software applications that meet the needs of our users. You will work closely with our SRE, Dev, QA, and PM teams to ensure that our applications are reliable, efficient, and secure.

Key Responsibilities

* Perform SRE responsibilities and procedures on supported services, including but not limited to standby revolutions, maintenance, change management, monitoring, incident response, capacity planning, and disaster recovery.

  • Augment system uptime, availability, and reliability to ensure functional and performance SLAs.
  • Contribute to existing documentation and build effective documentation, such as functional runbooks, SOPs, SLA/SLO.
  • Develop and lead pre-planning/tooling/automation to streamline processes and minimize human resources.
  • Work cross-functionally and territorially with SRE/Dev/QA/PM teams to manage incidents and improve processes.
  • Manage and focus on projects for high efficiency and exact deliveries.

Requirements

* Four-year college degree in Software Engineering, a related field, or equivalent functional experience.

  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in software development with at least one programming language.
  • 5+ years of experience with Linux Operating Systems, Systems Administration, Database concepts, Monitoring, and Shell scripting.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
  • Superb communicator, collaborative person, self-starter, and quick learner.

Ideal Qualifications

* Graduate degree in Software Engineering, Design, or a related field.

  • Proficiency in any of the following languages: Python, GoLang, C++.
  • Experience in any of the following: SRE reasoning, AIOPS, APM, Disaster Recovery.
  • Experience in any of the following tech stacks: Kubernetes, ElasticSearch, ClickHouse, Message Queue, OpenTSDB, Management Grid.

Pay Transparency

arenaflex is committed to pay transparency and provides a competitive salary and benefits package to its employees. The salary range for this position is $27-$37 per hour, and the actual salary will be based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and skills.
