Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead our customer sales efforts in the South region. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for driving business results across assigned territory, developing and executing annual plans, and building strong relationships with our customers. You'll work closely with our cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results, and you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our business.

Responsibilities

As a Sales Director at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for the following key areas:

  • Customer Development: Lead a team of direct reports to deliver business results across assigned territory, develop and execute annual plans, and build strong relationships with our customers.
  • System Leadership: Participate in system routines to provide customer updates, work closely with Coca-Cola sales teams to maximize mutual goals, and build relationships with BASN teams and Bottlers to ensure alignment and focus on delivering key customer objectives.
  • Cross Functional Communication and Collaboration: Provide on-going updates on customer plan results and opportunities to arenaflex management, participate in key cross-functional routines to provide on-going plan updates, and ensure flawless execution of customer programs and initiatives.
  • Organizational Development: Leverage cross-functional resources to deliver best-in-class capabilities to customers, coach and mentor team members, and manage to annual T&E budget for department.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have the following qualifications and skills:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or relevant experience required.
  • Experience: 8 years direct sales experience in the CPG industry, with a track record of successfully selling into multiple national and regional channel customers.
  • Location: Located in Southeast or Texas preferred.
  • Recent Publix and SEG experience: Recent experience working with Publix and SEG customers preferred.
  • DSD beverage background: DSD beverage background preferred.
  • Self-motivation and organization: Self-motivated and highly organized, with a strong desire to produce results and an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Analytical skills: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to quickly assess the needs of the business and develop an action plan.
  • Communication skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively intermingle with a wide variety of business professionals.
  • Computer skills: Solid computer skills in Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, with a strong understanding of Nielsen/IRI syndicated data.
  • Travel: Position requires substantial travel (30% if based in FL area; 50% outside of territory) by car and plane, including both local and neighboring geographic territories.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a base salary of $169,000 - $196,000, depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We also offer a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position.

Annual Incentive Reference Value Percentage

Our annual incentive reference value percentage is 30, indicating performance at target.
