Key Responsibilities
As a Pharmacy Technician & Customer Service Representative, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Performing duties assigned by the Data Entry Manager, including answering phones, responding to orders, and resolving client complaints and inquiries in a timely manner.
- Triage incoming faxes by facility/department and in accordance with cutoff times, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
- Clarifying orders as needed to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment.
- Providing exceptional customer service, responding to general inquiries, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Collaborating with the Data Entry Manager to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- An active NJ Board of Pharmacy, Pharmacy Technician License.
- Previous experience in pharmacy, with a strong preference for LTC pharmacy experience.
- In-depth knowledge of brand name and generic medications, as well as a solid understanding of pharmacy operations and regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Moderate to advanced computer skills, with proficiency in frameworks and ECM knowledge a plus.
- Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with a strong commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
