Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Bilingual Customer Service Representative to join our team in La Linea. As a Representative Customer Service, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our customers, resolving inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and accurate manner. You will also be responsible for researching, analyzing, and interpreting customer data to facilitate timely and accurate billing and collections. This role requires fluency in both English and Spanish, as well as excellent listening, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service: Receives, researches, and resolves inquiries, complaints, and requests from customers involving rates, policies, practices, procedures, and products and services.

  • Account Management: Researches, analyzes, and makes changes to customer account information to ensure timely and accurate billing and collections.
  • Error Resolution: Corrects errors on customer accounts, billing data, or metering data as necessary.
  • New Account Establishment: Establishes new accounts and markets and administers services and programs.
  • Reporting and Statistics: Prepares various entries, reports, and statistics as required.
  • Credit Policy Application: Applies credit policies in accordance with arenaflex's policies and procedures.
  • Customer Inquiry Response: Researches and responds to customer inquiries regarding payments, account balances, and usage patterns.
  • Field Orders and Investigations: Initiates and completes appropriate and timely field orders and investigations as requested by customers.
  • Cashiering Duties: Performs cashiering duties, including accepting payments and preparing bank deposits.
  • Business Office Operations: Conducts daily operations of business offices in the absence of a supervisor, following established policies and procedures.
  • Customer Education: Informs customers of water ordering and delivery procedures and terminology.
  • Record Keeping: Maintains and files customer information and records accurately.
  • Internal Coordination: Coordinates work with internal departments to accomplish tasks.
  • Team Support: Assists other representatives and performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Language Proficiency: Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.

  • Experience: Experience as a Customer Services Representative, Customer Services Representative Trainee, Administrative Clerk, or General Clerk, or equivalent experience is necessary.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to tactfully converse with customers and employees.
  • Analytical and Interpersonal Skills: Strong listening, analytical, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Policy Adherence: Ability to read and interpret customer account information and adhere to policies and procedures.
