Responsibilities
Minimum: Three years experience with charge master principles and the relationship to coding, billing, compliance in a hospital setting. Knowledge of CPT/HCPCS coding, CMS regulations, HCPCS, ICD-9 and UB Revenue Codes with the ability to effectively interpret, communicate and educate others. Excellent communication, analytical and computer skills. Charge Master Experience Coding and billing: of CPT/HCPCS coding, CMS regulations, HCPCS, ICD-9 and UB Revenue Codes Preferred: Medical record coding or patient accounting experience. Responsible for maintaining, updating, and assuring compliance for Charge Master data. Acts as team leader for special projects. Recommends and coordinates the use of consultants for specialized activities. Conducts and/or oversees data entry of Charge Master revisions. Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
