Job Summary

As a Research Design Consultant, you'll work closely with our Network Planning Team and other business teams to analyze complex datasets, develop insights, and create strategic recommendations. You'll be responsible for synthesizing large amounts of data, developing presentation materials, and communicating findings to senior leaders. Responsibilities

* Coordinate with Teams and Leaders within Network Planning and across Business Teams to ensure cooperation and alignment on multiple efforts and initiatives

• Analyze schedules and complex datasets to discover applicable insights for stakeholders
• Synthesize large quantities of data using SQL, Access, Excel, Tableau, and Alteryx
• Develop high-quality and well-timed presentation materials to inform and influence senior leaders
• Navigate the complexities of multiple teams and engagements
• Analyze historical profitability and performance metrics to gain insight into future performance
• Contribute to the progressive development of opportunity network designs, connectivity structures, scheduling approaches, etc. that enhance a wide range of work streams to include future fleet plans, forecasted facility needs, labor and staffing optimizations, operational viability simulations, and business opportunity assessments, amongst others
• Deliver evaluation and solutions that illustrate clear understanding of the business issue at hand as well as the wider impact across the broader business organization and Company
• Communicate findings and effects to branch and Commercial/Operational Leaders with a communication approach that acknowledges the intended target audience and provides the recommended course of action using robust visualizations that facilitate the communication of the story behind the data
• May perform other job responsibilities as directed by Employee's Leaders

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Data Science, Statistics, or Mathematics

• 3+ years of experience in data analysis, research design, or a related field
• Proven track record of developing and presenting complex data insights to senior leaders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize large amounts of data
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences
• Experience working with SQL, Access, Excel, Tableau, and Alteryx
• Strong understanding of business operations and the ability to analyze complex datasets

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Data Science, Statistics, or Mathematics

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, research design, or a related field
• Experience working in the airline industry or a related field
• Strong knowledge of network planning and data analysis principles
• Certification in data analysis or a related field

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences
• Strong understanding of business operations and the ability to analyze complex datasets

• Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year
