Experienced Remote Healthcare Customer Service Representative – Patient-Centric Account Resolution and Financial Performance Optimization

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for resolving patient balances, maximizing financial performance, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients' patients and guarantors. Key Responsibilities:
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for the following key tasks and deliverables: -
Fields Inbound Patient Calls:
Respond to patient calls in a professional, patient-centric manner, balancing speed and efficiency with empathy, accuracy, and the creation of a thorough, positive patient experience. -
Fields Insurance Carrier, Attorney, and Non-Self Pay related Inbound Calls:
Handle calls from insurance carriers, attorneys, and non-self pay related parties in a timely and efficient manner. - Manages assigned inventory through the proper and timely cycling of Dispositional Segments within arenaflex or the Client’s software solution(s): Effectively manage assigned inventory, ensuring timely and accurate cycling of Dispositional Segments. - Consistently meets the Total Touches per Day target (for both Patients and Guarantors) as determined by the assigned Segment of A/R and other Client nuances and considerations: Meet or exceed daily touch targets for patients and guarantors, as determined by the assigned segment of A/R and client nuances. -
Accurately sets up Payment Plans with Patients per Client guidelines:
Set up payment plans with patients in accordance with client guidelines, ensuring accurate and timely resolution of patient balances. -
Secures Payments and Partial Payments with Patients per Client guidelines:
Secure payments and partial payments from patients in accordance with client guidelines, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of patient balances. - Performs Account research and resolution on Self Pay, FAP, and Insurance topics in timely and results-oriented fashion: Conduct thorough research and resolution of self-pay, FAP, and insurance-related account issues in a timely and results-oriented manner. - Consistently documents all Patient encounters in Hospital’s source system and/or arenaflex’s workflow solution: Accurately document all patient encounters in the hospital's source system or arenaflex's workflow solution. -
Performs initial assessments for Financial Assistant Program(s) per Client guidelines:
Conduct initial assessments for financial assistant programs in accordance with client guidelines, ensuring accurate and timely resolution of patient balances.

Patient-Centric Customer Service:
Proven experience in providing patient-centric customer service, with a focus on empathy, accuracy, and positive patient experiences. -
Empathy:
Excellent empathy and communication skills, with the ability to connect with patients, leaders, and staff. -
Multi-system toggling and organizational efficiency:
Proficiency in multi-system toggling and organizational efficiency, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. -
Documentation, written and verbal communication:
Strong documentation and communication skills, with the ability to accurately document patient encounters and communicate effectively with patients, leaders, and staff. -
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. -
HIPAA and related Privacy and Security Acts and Regulations:
Knowledge of HIPAA and related privacy and security acts and regulations, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and protect patient information. -
Excellent Communication Skills:
