Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Data Entry Associate, you will be responsible for:

  • Processing and digitizing incoming healthcare claim forms with high accuracy, ensuring timely and efficient completion of assignments
  • Capturing, validating, and classifying complex data from various documents, including medical claims forms, patient information, and billing details
  • Verifying data using automated tools and completing assignments under the supervision of our experienced team leaders
  • Collaborating with colleagues to resolve data discrepancies and ensure data integrity
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports, as required
  • Participating in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications and Education

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • A minimum of 30+ words per minute (WPM) typing speed with high accuracy and 10-key proficiency
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet research
  • Basic knowledge of medical claims form processing, preferably with experience in healthcare claims processing
  • Eligibility to work in the United States and the ability to pass background checks

Preferred Qualifications and Education

While not required, the following qualifications and education will be advantageous:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare administration, business administration)
  • Experience in data entry, medical billing, or healthcare claims processing
  • Certification in medical coding or billing (e.g., CPC, CMC)
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) and practice management systems (PMS)
