Key Responsibilities

As a work-from-home customer service representative in a contractor role, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service through inbound phone calls, chat messages, and email responses
  • Resolving customer inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Utilizing problem-solving skills to address complex customer concerns
  • Maintaining a friendly, empathetic tone and professional demeanor in all interactions
  • Meeting or exceeding performance metrics and client-specific goals
  • Collaborating with our team to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution

Schedule and Flexibility

As an independent contractor, you'll have the flexibility to create a schedule that works best for you. Our majority of work hours are during weekdays and daytime, but we understand that life can be unpredictable. With our platform, you'll have the autonomy to manage your time effectively and balance your work and personal life.

Earnings and Revenue

As a contractor, your earnings will vary based on the client and your performance. You can expect to earn between $14 to $20 per hour, with additional incentives available based on client and performance metrics. Your pay will be determined by your phone call status when assisting customers, ensuring that you're rewarded for your hard work and dedication.

  • Proficiency in using technology, including computer applications and software

Technology and Equipment Requirements

To ensure seamless communication and issue resolution, you'll need to meet the following technology and equipment requirements:

  • A quiet and secure work environment during working hours
  • A personal computer with a minimum of 8GB RAM (tablets and Chromebooks are not permitted)
  • A wired USB headset with microphone for clear communication
  • High-speed wired internet with a minimum of 10 Mbps download speed for seamless connectivity (mobile home internet and satellite internet services are not permitted)
  • A valid and up-to-date antivirus software installed
  • A smartphone, Android tablet, or iPad for program work, along with an authentication app
  • A Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system (some clients may accept AppleOS)

Work Environment Requirements

To ensure a productive and efficient work environment, you'll need to:

  • Create a quiet, uninterrupted space
  • Maintain an organized desk area

Contractual Relationship

As an independent contractor, you'll have a contractual relationship with arenaflex. You'll remain an independent contractor for the duration of your program assignment, and arenaflex will not be responsible for withholding taxes on your earnings. When you receive your contract, you'll be asked to agree to have no claim against arenaflex for vacation pay, sick leave, retirement benefits, Social Security, worker's compensation, health or disability benefits, overtime, unemployment insurance benefits, or employee benefits of any kind.
