Job Responsibilities:
As a Remote Customer Service Representative for MD Medicaid at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional customer service to Maryland residents via phone, email, and chat
- Assisting with Medicaid-related inquiries, applications, and enrollments
- Utilizing the State's eligibility and enrollment portal and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to perform tasks and duties
- Ensuring delivery of high-quality service for all Maryland consumers
- Working collaboratively with internal teams to resolve customer issues and concerns
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and transactions
- Participating in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Key Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
- 6 months of recent call center experience
- Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse and disadvantaged populations in a courteous and effective manner
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment; ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working in a healthcare or social services environment
- Bilingual or multilingual skills
- Experience with Medicaid or other government programs
- Certification in customer service or a related field
Equipment and Internet Requirements:
* Desktop or laptop with Intel Core i5 Processor or higher with 8GB Memory (No Celeron or Pentium processors)
- Desktop or laptop with a minimum of 256GB hard drive
- Windows 10 or 11
- Minimum of 1 USB Gen 2 or newer port (wired headset)
- 1 RJ-45 connection for a wired connection to internet router
- Wired Headset and microphone with a USB Gen2 or newer connection
- Video camera capability, necessary for training
- Wired internet connection from computer to router or modem
- Download speed 100 MBPS minimum
- Upload speed 10 MBPS minimum
Training and Onboarding:
* System Training: 3 weeks, 9:30am-6:00pm EST, M-F (Day 1-7) and 9:30am-6:00pm EST, M-F (Day 8-15)
- Nesting: 4 weeks, 9:30am-6:00pm EST
- Monday-Friday schedules will remain 9:30 am- 6:00pm after training
- You must be committed to working this schedule
