Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Answering incoming phone calls from health care providers (i.e. physician offices, clinics) and identifying the type of assistance the provider needs (e.g., benefit and eligibility, billing and payments, authorizations for treatment, explanation of benefits).
  • Focusing on resolving issues on the first call, navigating through complex computer systems to identify the status of the issue and provide an appropriate response to the caller.
  • Delivering information and answering questions in a positive manner to facilitate strong relationships with providers and their staff.
  • Completing the documentation necessary to track provider issues and facilitate the reporting of overall trends.
  • Interacting with providers with the intent to develop a relationship with them, while managing a high volume of calls and developing knowledge of various products and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide exceptional customer service to health care providers and their staff.

  • Resolve issues on the first call, navigating through complex computer systems.
  • Develop strong relationships with providers and their staff.
  • Track and document provider issues to facilitate reporting of overall trends.
  • Stay up-to-date with various products and benefits to provide accurate information to callers.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience.
  • Must be 18 years of age OR older.
  • Must live within 30 miles of Las Vegas, NV.
  • Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to listen skillfully, collect relevant information, build rapport and respond to customers in a compassionate manner.
  • Skilled in problem solving to quickly assess current state and formulate recommendations.
  • Ability to work any 8-hour shift between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM from Monday - Friday.

Nice-to-haves

* 1+ year of experience in a related environment (i.e. office, administrative, clerical, customer service, etc.) using phones and computers as the primary job tools.

  • Prior health care experience.

Work Environment and Company Culture

arenaflex is a remote-friendly organization that offers a flexible work schedule. Our office is located at 2300 West Charleston Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89102. We offer 2 weeks of paid training, which will be conducted onsite. All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to arenaflex's Telecommuter Policy.
