Key Responsibilities
As an Overnight Customer Service Representative, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our store during late-night hours. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Greeting customers, operating the register, and handling cash transactions with a smile
- Providing excellent customer care, responding to queries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Maintaining a clean and organized store environment, adhering to arenaflex's high standards for store appearance
- Collaborating with colleagues to achieve daily goals, share knowledge, and support each other in a fast-paced environment
- Participating in training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge, ensuring you're always up-to-date with the latest products, services, and company initiatives
- Engaging with customers, listening to their feedback, and using this information to improve our services and products
- Working closely with the management team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the customer experience
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
- A positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service
- Basic math skills, with the ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift up to 30 pounds, and perform other tasks as required
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications would be beneficial:
- Retail and customer service experience, with a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service
- Sales associate or cashiering experience, with a strong understanding of retail operations and customer behavior
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on customer service, sales, or a related field
- Motivation to advance in your career, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements
As an Overnight Customer Service Representative, you'll need to be able to:
- Stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours
- Lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead up to 30 minutes in a shift
- Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level
- Push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds
- Bend at the waist with some twisting up to one hour a shift
- Grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands, requiring eye-hand coordination and occasional ladder climbing
