Key Responsibilities:

As an Experienced Customer Service/Sales Professional, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing fast, friendly, and personalized service to customers, actively seeking out their needs and providing assistance to drive sales growth
  • Learning about products and services using our tools and providing information to customers to sell entire projects
  • Greeting, qualifying, recommending, and closing every customer in your department, as well as handling basics in adjacent departments
  • Maintaining the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop-able, and safe
  • Providing a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies and standards, completing specified safety training, and reporting hazards or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty
  • Working in cooperation with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department, as well as other departments
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer experiences
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, products, and services to provide expert advice and recommendations to customers

Essential Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service or sales, preferably in a retail or industry-related environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

* Associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field

  • 2-3 years of experience in customer service or sales
  • Experience working in a retail or industry-related environment
  • Knowledge of industry trends, products, and services
  • Certification in sales or customer service
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
