Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Gate Agent, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting passengers in boarding and disembarking flights, ensuring a smooth and efficient process
  • Monitoring computerized passenger boarding to ensure accurate and timely boarding
  • Assisting customers with special needs, including arranging for wheelchairs and unaccompanied minors, to provide a personalized and caring experience
  • Changing customer flight itineraries and seat assignments as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
  • Operating the Jetway, ensuring safe and efficient passenger movement
  • Working as a team to provide excellent customer service and meet corporate objectives, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment

Requirements

To be successful as a Customer Service Gate Agent, you will need to:

  • Successfully complete our comprehensive training course, which includes both classroom and on-the-job training
  • Demonstrate the ability to meet company goals and customer expectations in a high-energy environment, showcasing your commitment to excellence
  • Possess effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers and colleagues
  • Show the ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask, managing multiple tasks and responsibilities with ease

Nice-to-Haves

While not essential, the following skills and experiences would be beneficial for this role:

  • Previous airline experience, demonstrating your understanding of the industry and its challenges
  • Previous employment as a front-line customer service provider, showcasing your ability to deliver exceptional service
  • Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs, including our proprietary systems and software
