Job Summary

As a Part-Time Facilities Maintenance Agent, you will play a critical role in maintaining our facilities and ensuring that we continue to deliver industry-leading service to our customers and airline partners. You will be responsible for performing general construction, plumbing, and electrical maintenance tasks, as well as maintaining the airport grounds, including hangars, terminals, ramp areas, storage pods, parking areas, and offices. You will also conduct snow and weed removal, complete daily maintenance of the steam boiler, and ensure the effective completion of daily work orders.

Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Facilities Maintenance Agent, your key responsibilities will include:

• Performing general maintenance and repair tasks, including plumbing, carpentry, hardware installation, painting, flooring, and electrical work.
• Maintaining airport grounds, including hangars, terminals, ramp areas, storage pods, parking areas, and offices.
• Conducting snow and weed removal as necessary.
• Completing daily maintenance of the steam boiler.
• Maintaining daily productivity with little or no supervision.
• Effectively completing daily work orders.
• Collaborating with the Project Manager, Facilities, to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Electrical experience, including knowledge of electrical systems and equipment.
• Plumbing experience, including knowledge of plumbing systems and equipment.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
• Ability to drive a standard transmission vehicle.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.

Nice-to-Haves

While not essential, the following skills and qualifications would be beneficial in this role:

• Familiarity with the terminal assigned.
• Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
