Responsibilities:
As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Accurately entering and updating data into our organization's database
- Verifying and resolving data discrepancies to ensure accuracy
- Maintaining confidentiality and security of sensitive information
- Collaborating with team members to improve data management processes
- Meeting established deadlines for data entry tasks
- Identifying opportunities for data automation and implementing new processes to improve efficiency
- Utilizing challenge control skills to ensure all tasks are completed on time and on budget
What You Need to Succeed:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
- Experience with SQL or database querying tools, including ETL and data modeling
- Proficiency in scripting programming languages, such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Knowledge of software development methodologies
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and VBA
- Proven experience as a Data Entry Specialist or similar role
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Effective communication skills and a team player attitude
