Experienced Full Stack Data Entry Specialist – Bookkeeping and Information Analysis

About the Job
As a Full Stack Data Entry Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of cross-functional collaboration, serving as the go-to expert for bookkeeping partners in the data and analytics spaces. Your days will be filled with evaluating data using SQL and Python, leading in-depth data analysis and interpretation, designing complex dashboards and reports, and contributing to critical bookkeeping research and planning initiatives. Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Technical Accounting, Financial Accounting, Designing, Product, Finance, Assessment, Legal, and other stakeholders on projects, processes, and initiatives, and assist with driving key system enhancements and improvements
- Create and design comprehensive bookkeeping data requirements to support the continuous automation of journal entries, ensuring accuracy, completeness, consistency, and efficiency in financial processes
- Lead functional improvement initiatives to further streamline income tasks and reduce the income close cycle
- Review data quality of journal entries prepared through the Income Subledger and design Data Quality checks for identified use cases through bookkeeping requirements planning, ad-hoc analyses, new product launches, etc.
- Work with the Product and Designing teams to continuously improve our daily Income Compromise process and manage compromise analysis with the assistance of the analysis team
- Review meetings and evaluate impact on existing or need for new bookkeeping requirements for the Income Subledger
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on journal entry streams for new or existing products for automation through the Income Subledger
- Perform monthly income bookkeeping close responsibilities, including but not limited to: GAAP income analysis, cost of income analysis, cash due compromises, audit journal entries, and review close package expectations
- Conduct impromptu analyses and actions as assigned
Why We're Excited About You
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Information Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in income bookkeeping, data analysis, or potentially business intelligence
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, ASC 606 Income Recognition required; knowledge of IFRS an asset
- Transitional/high-level SQL skills and ability to work with large volumes of relational data, Python an asset
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and ability to adapt to changing environments
- Ability to collaborate with all levels of management and cross-functional teams, both internally and remotely
